A story by ESPN's Chris Mortensen is saying the Brett Favre refused to meet with an NFL investigator last week that was looking into the alleged allegations of lewd messages sent to Jenn Sterger, a former employee of the New York Jets.
Favre is scheduled to meet with the NFL this week to discuss what role he might have had in the incident, which took place in 2008 during his only season with the Jets.
Sterger has not been willing to discuss the incident with the NFL, and her refusal to do so could result in the investigation not getting very far out of the initial stages.
