MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre has been knocked out of the game against the Buffalo Bills.
The 41-year-old was crushed by Bills linebacker Arthur Moats on his first pass play of the game, a pass that was intercepted by Drayton Florence.
Favre was slow to get up and staggered to the sidelines. He was replaced by Tarvaris Jacksonon the next series, but there was no immediate word on his condition.
Favre extended his NFL record by starting his 297th straight regular season game.
On the play, Favre rolled to his right and was blindsided by Moats just as he started to throw. The ball fluttered in the air and fell into Florence's arms for Favre's 18th interception of the season.
